Third Text Africa

Third Text Africa is an open access, peer-reviewed journal initiated by Rasheed Araeen founding editor of Third Text, in partnership with ASAI. Third Text Africa publishes critical perspectives on contemporary art and culture, with a particular interest in facilitating and stimulating critical scholarship on and from the African continent. Third Text Africa has its own editorial structure and operates independently of the print journal.

Kindly note that due to funding constraints the production of Third Text Africa was affected. Recent funding from the Foundation for Arts Initiatives and the University of Stellenbosch has remedied that, and a new editor will be appointed shortly. A revised schedule will be made public soon, the Mozambique call is still open. Thank you for your patience!

Theme: Mozambique
Deadline: 1 June 2013
Papers in English, French and Portuguese accepted
