Art history in Africa: call for papers

Call for papers (English and French) on the teaching of art history in Africa for the 15th ACASA Triennial in Los Angeles, March 2011.  Panels seek to determine how academic institutions throughout the African continent are teaching the history of art, and how they are supporting art historical research.  Participants will be from African universities, art institutes, and research centers that offer courses on the history of art.  For more info Jean Borgatti (jborgatti@gmail.com) or Monica Blackmun Visonà (M.B.Visona@uky.edu) The deadline for proposals is Sept.15th.
